Early voting in the local elections is over, and this Saturday, May 10, is election day. To help our readers make an informed decision, we decided to keep our review of the candidates through Saturday. We also have an editorial supporting the EM-S ISD bond issue.
And - a rumor circulating the past few weeks regarding an alleged upcoming Constitutional Amendment Election to provide school tax relief to elderly or disabled taxpayers is false. This issue was voted on in the May 2005 Constitutional Amendment Election. There will be no state proposition on the ballot.
